Each cylinder is fitted
with a superior grade heating element which is specifically
designed for extra durability.
A sacrificial anode is
also provided with each unit to give an even greater level of
protection to the tough enamel surface inside.
In addition, our cold
water inlet is connected to a water diffuser which forces the
incoming water to "sweep" across the base of cylinder and
the element, ensuring no build up of sediment.
To back up this level of
protection, Rinnai offers a 5 Year warranty on the cylinder*.

Rinnai Electric
Cylinders have been designed in a way to minimise the overall size
of the unit. This makes changeovers in tight spaces very easy as
Rinnai cylinders are of a similar dimension to older style hot
water systems. Many other manufacturers' cylinders are now
significantly larger due to the need to increase insulation size to
comply with the Minimum Energy Performance Standards (M.E.P.S.). It
is always advisable to check the dimensions before you
purchase.
For the installing
plumber, we also provide dual handed Hot & Cold water
connections to give greater flexibility during installations. The
dual hot water outlets can also be utilised to have two water
temperatures from the same unit. Talk to your installing plumber
about installing a tempering valve to one outlet set at or below
50oC for your bathrooms, and using the second at the higher (tank)
temperature to run a second line to your kitchen and laundry.
